Cost depends on distance, vehicle size, and the truck the job needs, so ask for the number before you agree. For a trespass tow off private property, Virginia caps the hookup fee at $210 statewide and Richmond caps it at $195, with storage at $50 per 24-hour period after the first 24 hours free, a $75 administrative fee only once the vehicle has sat more than 72 hours, and up to $30 for an after-hours or weekend tow. A tow you call for yourself is not covered by those caps. Virginia law requires operators to post a complete fee list and bars collecting more than the posted amount, so ask to see it.

Ask before you agree. On a trespass tow off private property, Virginia allows a surcharge of up to $30 for a tow between 7 p.m. and 8 a.m., or on a Saturday, Sunday or holiday, capped at two such fees per vehicle. Richmond allows up to $30 after hours plus up to $30 on a weekend or holiday, each chargeable once per occurrence, not per day, and up to $35 to release a vehicle between 7 p.m. and 8 a.m.

Credit card, debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Zelle, and cash. Payment is taken at the drop-off; the driver runs a card reader on the truck.

If you have coverage through AAA, Allstate, Geico, USAA, State Farm, or another major motor club, call them first - they dispatch from their own operator list and typically cover the tow. If you would rather arrange it yourself, call us.

Richmond Core and Henrico have the most operators nearby; the Tri-Cities and the Western Edge counties are a longer run. The line takes calls 24/7 - give us the location and we match you with the nearest operator who can take the job.

Yes. I-95, I-64, I-295, SR-288, the Powhite Parkway, and the Downtown Expressway - we work every Richmond-area highway, bridge, and toll crossing. Police-directed freeway tows go through the standard local rotation, not through us. For private calls on the shoulder, we dispatch an operator directly.

We cover all of it. The I-95/I-85 split at Petersburg, the Tri-Cities' documented fog belt, and the Western Edge counties out toward Powhatan and Goochland are a longer run than the urban core. Pin-drop your location or give the nearest exit, cross street, or mile marker when you call.

AWD, 4WD, and all EVs must go flatbed - no exceptions. Wheel-lift works fine for standard FWD or RWD sedans and most trucks. Lowered, damaged, or luxury vehicles should go flatbed for safety. Tell us year/make/model when you call and we route an operator with the right truck.

Yes. Every EV needs a flatbed - the drive motors stay engaged with the wheels. The operators we dispatch move Teslas, Rivians, Mustang Mach-Es, Lucids, and Hummer EVs regularly. If the battery is completely dead and the transport mode will not engage, say so when you call so we send an operator equipped for it.

Yes. Motorcycles get low-deck flatbeds with soft straps. Class A, B, C motorhomes and fifth-wheels go to the heavy-wrecker operators in the network. We tell you on the phone what truck is coming.

Yes. Common routes from Richmond: Washington DC, Virginia Beach, Charlotte, Raleigh, Philadelphia. The operator confirms a written price before the truck rolls. Scheduled pickups preferred.

Yes. The roadside operators we dispatch carry high-capacity jump packs. If the battery is the only issue, you drive away after a 10-minute idle. If the alternator or battery is bad, you get told honestly and the tow comes out of the same call.

Yes. The operator brings the tools and swaps the spare. On a freeway, expect a recommendation to do a short tow to a safe lot for the swap - freeway shoulder tire work is dangerous and often illegal without a lane closure.

If law enforcement is on scene, the driver works directly with the officer on removal and destination.

Yes. We match apartment complexes, HOAs, and retail lots across the metro with operators who sign written agreements compliant with Virginia's private-property towing law (Va. Code § 46.2-1231). Posted signage listing the operator's fees, the required notice to law enforcement, and the release procedure are all the operator's responsibility. No cost to the property.

Virginia law requires the tow company to notify local law enforcement and post its full fee schedule where the vehicle owner can see it. Call us with your license plate and we will help you work out who has the car, what the release fee should be, and what paperwork you need (driver's license + registration in most cases).
